Welcome to Graduate Program in Civil Engineering (PPGEC) at Ufes

Since its inception to the present day, the PPGEC has awarded 410 (four hundred and ten) master's degrees. In the 2021-2024 quadrennium, there were 57 graduates; in the 2017-2019 quadrennium, 125 (one hundred and twenty-five) master's degrees were awarded, a number higher than the 87 (eighty-seven) degrees granted in the 2013-2016 period. It can be stated that the PPGEC is well-established in terms of human resource development.

During the 2021-2024 quadrennium, the PPGEC demonstrated a significant bibliographic output of articles published in high-quality scientific journals. The total number of articles published by faculty members in journals reached 111 (one hundred and eleven), with 30 articles in 2021, 24 in 2022, 34 in 2023, and 23 in 2024. The continuous increase in the number of publications indicates that the PPGEC is well-established in terms of scientific productivity.

In the 2021-2024 quadrennium, the PPGEC improved its CAPES rating to 4.0 and, in December 2024, had its doctoral program proposal approved.

The program is based in Vitória-ES, offering the course of Civil Engineering Master Program since 1997 and has an academic qualification profile certified by CAPES, receiving 4 on its last evaluation.

The program already has 363 masters and counts with 40 students regularly enrolled, all of them being masters.
