Summary: The means of communication and digital technology, the main means of indicating traditional graphics have already been used in the 2D scenario, among which stand out AutoCAD. This type of model is increasingly difficult to meet the demands of the construction industry, more specifically in interior architecture. The current ongoing quest to meet market demand includes new solutions for solving costs, making business profitable, improving the quality and productivity of projects, and presenting the presence of more companies such as the areas close to BIM technology. Construction Information Modeling, a strong ally in this expansion. BIM or Construction Information Modeling is a process that has great potential for the use of architecture, including environment projects, since it allows the presentation of information and data that generate a virtual 3D model WHERE they are inserted as specifications, material features, etc. The main applications of BIM for the use of interior projects, their implementation in the area are still not important and are being developed. of this work is to explore the potential of using BIM technology in interior design for the study of a case project of reforming an apartment using BIM softwares. From the forum of exit of the culture media, in order to highlight the potentialities for the use of interior and data technologies, contribute to the dissemination of knowledge and application of BIM, for an area.
